District wise and category wise draft merit list will be published in OSEPA website. Draft merit list will be prepared taking into consideration all district preference submitted by individual candidates in order of preference followed by merit rank i.e. for a particular district, after exhausting all candidates having 1st preference, subsequent preferences will be considered.

In case of a tie i.e. when two or more candidates obtain equal score, inter-se merit of such candidates shall be decided in the order as mentioned below:

1. Date of birth (Older candidate will be above other candidates)
2. Percentage of marks in qualifying examination i.e in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) will be considered. In case of further tie, marks secured in Graduation will be taken into consideration followed by post-Graduation marks.

If a tie still persists, Government will issue suitable instructions for breaking the tie.

For a particular post, in a category within district, district preference will be preferred over merit.

There are following simple steps for online downloading of OSEPA Junior Teacher result 2023 as under described:

1. At first open OSEPA official website https://osepa.odisha.gov.in
2. In the home page under navigation section click on “Publication” link and navigate to “Junior Teacher Recruitment” link.
3. Then click on the given link as “Download Junior Teacher Recruitment Result”.
4. You will be redirected to the result download page of OSEPA Junior Teacher recruitment 2023.
5. In the result page enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth correctly in the specified input field.
6. Finally click on Download result button to download your result and save a copy in PDF or print out for future reference.
