Medical & Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB) is calling for online applications to fill 156 vacancies for the post of Medical Officer in Ayurveda, Homeo & Unani, distributed across Multi Zone I and Multi Zone II. Eligibility Criteria for MHSRB Medical Officer Recruitment 2023
Educational Qualification
  • Applicants must possess a relevant Degree in Ayurveda, Homeopathy, or Unani from a recognized Indian university or institution, established under central, state, or provincial Acts or recognized by the University Grants Commission or any statutory State Government Board. The degree should include a regular course of institutional study in the respective system, both in theory and practice, lasting at least 4½ years, along with a one-year compulsory internship from a recognized teaching institution affiliated with the university or state government.

    Additionally, applicants are required to have their degree certificates registered with the Board of Indian Medicine, Telangana, as of the application date.

Equivalent Qualification
  • During the certificate verification process, if any applicant is found to possess a qualification different from the required qualification but claims it to be equivalent, the matter will be referred to an ‘Expert Committee’ appointed by the Board. The Board will make a decision based on the report provided by the ‘Expert Committee’ regarding the equivalence of the qualifications.
