Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released the online admit card for the 2023 Postgraduate Trained Teacher Competitive Examination (PGTTCE) to fill 3120 regular and backlog vacancies. Eligible male and female candidates who are interested can download their admit cards from the official JSSC website, www.jssc.nic.in, starting from August 10th, 2023, for the PGTTCE 2023.

Eligibility Criteria For JSSC PGTTCE 2023

Educational Qualification
a.) National Council for Teacher Education (Determination of minimum qualifications for persons to be appointed as Education Teacher and Physical Education Teacher in pre-primary, upper primary, secondary, higher secondary or intermediate schools or colleges) Regulations, 2014 (as amended in 2021) In accordance with the relevant provisions of the

Post Graduate from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in the subjects taught in Government Schools of the State at +2 level and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) from an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education. OR

National Council for Teacher Education notified on 13.11.2002 (Determining norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programs and permission to start new courses or training) Regulations, 2002 and 10.12.2007 At least 45 percent marks in post graduation in respect of subjects taught at +2 level in government schools of the state from a recognized university in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 notified on 2007 Including Post Graduate and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) from an Institute recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education. OR

Post Graduate from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in the subjects taught in government schools of the state at +2 level and B.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. from an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education. OR

Post Graduate from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade in subjects taught at +2 level in government schools of the state and three years integrated B.Ed./M.Ed.

b.) In the advertisement published by the State Government for appointment, a relaxation of maximum 05 percent marks can be allowed in the above prescribed educational qualification marks in the case of SC/ST and all categories of disabled reservation category applicants.
