| E-admit cards of the candidates for the preliminary written examination will be available on the Commission’s website www.bpssc.bih.nic.in from 01.12.2023. Candidates should download their e-admit card and take a print out. It is clarified that admit card will not be sent by post. To appear in the examination at the allotted examination center, along with the e-admit card, you will have to present a valid photo identity card such as Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, PAN Card or Aadhar Card. If the photograph is not clear or not available on the e-admit card, then in such a situation the candidate will also bring 2 (two) photographs (taken within two months) identical to the application form with him to the examination venue. |

| There will be a paper of 200 marks in the preliminary examination in which the total number of questions will be 100 and the duration of the examination will be 2 (two) hours. In the said paper, questions related to general knowledge and contemporary issues will be asked. Candidates scoring less than 30 percent marks in this will be declared unsuccessful for the main examination. |
